Bangladesh is a Muslim base country. Near about 94% populations are Muslim here. The market syndicate in Bangladesh every year looking forward to the moth of Ramadan. Since Ramadan time each year all the Iftar products price increasing highly. Lower poor communities and Lower middle class families all over the country shall continue facing a huge of financial crises in this month even there are lots of families unable to buy Iftar foods. GMF every year tried to providing Ramadan assistance among five hundred poor families. We shall continue to pray for helping to more needy families in future. We needed more contributions to make difference to changing the lives of needy communities.
Ramadan is the month of sacrifice for Muslims. At this time, the price of every Iftar product is very high in the market of Bangladesh. Many poor and destitute Muslims drink only water during the evening Iftar after fasting all day. While fasting, they are able to buy enough food for two meals a day with whatever money they earn from working. Seeing this situation, GMF distributed food prepared for Iftar among about 400 fasting people. As a result of taking this initiative by GMF, electronic media came to the distribution place. GMF's Executive Director J. B. Moonna through that media invited people from affluent sections of the society, students of schools and colleges come forward, and plan to distribute Iftar throughout entire month of Ramadan. As a results there were some other group of peoples did worked on it for next few days. GMF wishes to show this love to those needy people every year more of more. May the light of God's love shine through us.
