Generally people in our country are very afraid to see a doctor. Because doctors mean fees, doctors mean many tests. It will cost a lot of money to get tested. Because of this, people do not want to go to the doctor even if there are many physical problems. If continue buy drugs from pharmacies by themselves, which are often counterproductive. GMF conducts free medical camps for these people and advises people to seek medical care and access to doctors. Because wrong medicine does not save life but leads to death. For this medical campaign in every area is very important.
In our rural town, due to religious dogma and superstition, the people of the village do not give any importance to the period of pregnancy. Passes the gestational period normally. For which most of the pregnant mothers suffer from various complications during pregnancy. Expectant mothers are not given much importance from their families. Because of this, the maternal mortality rate is very high in this country. Various schemes of the government are trying to reduce maternal mortality here, and the government has invited various non-governmental organizations to implement various schemes to reduce maternal mortality. For that purpose GMF has planned to conduct yard meetings in future through SMS project following which we have conducted some trial yard meetings, and it has been fruitful and it can be said that it will play a leading role in understanding the importance of antenatal care among people.
The Christian community in our country is called a minority in terms of largest population. Just like 0.4% of the total population. Due to the lack of Bible education in this minor society, most of the youths are becoming addicted to various drugs. Where Christian families develop their spiritual life, they are finding ways to protect their children's spiritual and worldly life under the poisonous spell of drugs. Usually there is a need for various Bible seminars, and motivational conferences to increase this small number of Christians. Keeping this issue in mind, GMF organizes anti-drug conferences through various local churches. But it is an unpleasant but true fact that we cannot implement these projects regularly as we do not have sufficient funds in all areas. But we are trying, praying, that we may get the mercy and grace of Almighty God and remove the scourge of drugs from this small society. Another area where Christian society is lagging behind is employment. Children of Christian families cannot study further due to lack of employment resources. And due to lack of qualifications, they do not get good job opportunities. In order to develop Christian society in this country, it is essential to first take steps to improve education and moral education.
GMF always encourages the youth to lead their life in a beautiful and elegant way. We believe that if the young people follow the path of justice and truth, a beautiful and peaceful world will be formed. This motivational session is always conducted by GMF to develop the talent of the youth. The aim of this project is to encourage the youth so that they can play a leading role for their country, society, and family as good citizens in the future.
Practical quality education is of immense importance in human resource development, poverty alleviation, quality of life and development of humanity. On the one hand, physical, mental, moral and personality development of the student is achieved through education. On the other hand, the structure of ethnicity is based on this education. But in our country, students are being deprived of modern education due to many reasons, including ideological weakness of education system, moral weakness, commercialization of education, glittering environment but underdeveloped teaching. Therefore, the development and prosperity of this educational system is essential for national development and prosperity. For this purpose, GMF has been carrying out pre-primary education programs at the field level since 2016 and has been encouraging the parents of rural communities to take up their children's primary school education through various meetings at various times. GMF aims to play a leading role in building a modern society by creating an educated generation. If talented students can be helped from pre-primary education to class 12th, then it will be easier to develop themselves as competent people with the completion of further education. We the GMF family are dedicated to building new generations. We believe that this dream will one day come true through our efforts and the help of the children of Almighty God.
Child marriage is a curse in our country. There are usually many reasons behind this. Reasons include lack of education, economic deprivation, health ignorance. Generally in rural areas of our country, girls are quickly married off at a young age because of ignorance about their health and because parents consider them a burden. Unsafe practices at the onset of menstruation pose health risks to adolescent girls, and parents are ignorantly preoccupied with adolescent girls, leading to unsafe motherhood. Premature pregnancy and unsafe menstrual practices expose girls to various health risks starting in adolescence. That is why GMF organizes awareness meetings at different places from time to time to prevent child marriage. Where four points are emphasized. Namely, girls' unsafe motherhood and health risks, girls' precarious education, girls' use of safe menstrual methods and explaining the importance of women's empowerment. It is also important to get to the root of any problem. One of the reasons for this child marriage is the lack of education of girls in using safe methods from puberty. GMF's dream is to bring safe menstrual practices to the village level. This is why it is very important to use sanitary pads and make them available to the rural people. Because in rural society buying sanitary pads from shops is a shame and embarrassment for village girls and women. Currently, the rate of child marriage in our country is about 47% according to the government survey. Which is really a terrible threat to women's society. Further work to increase our awareness is inevitable.
